I just recently had my first experience skiing out west. I am used to the icy conditions of NH and VT, so this was a real treat. Prior to going on the trip, I of course started looking for ski ticket deals. I was staying at the Canyons Mountain, which is in the same area as Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. Upon my search I found some incredible deals all over Utah:

1. Liftopia – This site sells non-refundable tickets in advance to major ski mountains all over the US. However, they can sell out so make sure you get them fast. I was able to purchase a 3 out of 7 day ticket to the Canyons Mountain for $165, which makes skiing $55/day!

2. Park City Quick Start – FREE lift ticket to the Canyons, Park City, and Deer Valley for the same day as your flight arrival. Take a morning flight into SLC airport and ski the rest of the day FREE. These three mountains are only 30 minutes away from the airport. You will need to fill out the Quick Start voucher with your information and bring it with you to the mountain. Additionally, you will need to bring a copy of your boarding pass. If flying Southwest or US Airways, make sure to print an extra copy of your boarding pass, as these two airlines collect your ticket upon boarding the plane. Upon arrival at the mountain, go to the ticket window with your voucher and boarding ticket and get your FREE lift ticket! We used it at Park City mountain since they have night skiing until 9pm. This is a great way to get an entire day of skiing in.

3. Canyon Sports – Canyon Sports ski and snowboard shop sells discounted lift tickets to many mountains in Utah. You have to purchase/pick up the tickets at the store. There are four store locations, two right in SLC for you to stop in after leaving the airport. They sell 1 day and 2 day tickets at a huge discount. Additionally, you can rent ski/snowboard gear for 20% off if you reserve online in advance.

4. Costco – You can purchase a pack of 5 Park City lift tickets for $279. These are good for single day use and can be used by multiple people. Great deal! Make sure to call your local Costco to ensure they are in stock.
