After much anticipation, Hyatt Hotels announced their Q2 promotion today. Although I was hoping for another round of FFN (Faster Free Nights), I was not surprised to see a pretty similar promotion as last fall. After their credit card release offers 2 free nights certificates for any Hyatt hotel, I think the days of seeing 1 or 2 FFN’s per year are over. The Q2 promotions for other hotels still have not been announced (although speculation is that Hilton will have 1,000 bonus points per stay), so will have to wait and see which hotel chain wins my business. The main benefit of this promotion is that no mattress runs are needed!
Promotion: Between April 1 and June 30, members earn 10,000 Gold Passport points after their first five nights, and then 5,000 points for each additional two nights. A maximum of 60,000 bonus points for 25 nights can be earned under the promotion.
Registration: Click here to register (link will not be live till March 31st).

Compared to Marriott’s 50,000 bonus points after 25 nights, this promotion is much more lucrative. Staying the same number of nights will earn you 2 nights at Marriott compared to 4 nights at Hyatt for a mid-level hotel.
