Between August 10 and November 15, 2011, you can receive an additional 1,000 bonus American Express Membership Reward points by staying at an Aloft, Element, or Four Points by Sheraton hotel and paying with an American Express Membership Rewards card (cannot be a hotel or airline branded AMEX card).

You must register for this promotion and be enrolled in the Membership Rewards program prior to your stay. This promotion does not apply to third party reservations (i.e., reservations made on hotels.com, expedia.com, etc.).  Read here for additional terms & conditions.

I also believe this can be combined with the 1,000 Southwest Rapid Reward points promotion. The combination of these two provides for some great additional points. Both these bonus point options are in addition to the regular SPG points you will receive.

Also remember that today is the last day to receive the 30,000 point bonus for new Starwood American Express credit card applicants. Click here to read a previous blog post on the benefits of this credit card. After today, I speculate the bonus to drop back down to 10,000 bonus points.

Hat tip to The Points Guy!
