$99/night Rate at the Radisson Lexington Hotel New York is Back!

Yesterday I posted about the $99/night rate at the Radisson Lexington Hotel New York, but by the time it posted and readers went to go book, the rate was gone. Well guess what?! It is back down to $99/night for all of next week. If you are going to by in NYC that is a pretty cheap rate – I am not sure I have ever seen a rate that low on a New York City hotel!

The point of my post yesterday, however, was to point out a pretty cheap way to take advantage of Radisson’s 50,000 bonus point promotion. For those of us in Manhattan, cheap mattress runs are difficult to find and typically require leaving the city. That can also pose a problem as most Manhattan-ers do not have a car. This $99/night rate is valid for check-ins 12/18 – 12/23 and 12/25 (yes Christmas day you can stay in NYC for $99/night)!

I actually know nothing about this hotel, so cannot attest to the quality. For tourists it is in a pretty central location and easily accessible to go anywhere. As we saw yesterday, this rate is frequently changing, so if you have interest I would not delay. You can book your Radisson reservation here. Just remember that this is a non-refundable rate.

  1. I booked for $140 a few days ago. Do you think I can call customer service and ask them to honor the reduced rate? Or any is there any other way I can get the reduced rate?

    • @Michael – I absolutely think you should call the Radisson hotel immediately and ask if they will cancel and re-book you with the lower rate. I think using the 50K points in Europe is a great redemption. Also, sometimes using the points for low level awards can be beneficial as well.

    • @Michael – Will they let you cancel since an “emergency” came up? Did you call the hotel directly or Radisson corporate?

    • @Mark – Now they upped the lowest rate to $129 so the 25% off sale comes to $104. Unbelievable. And that was 30 seconds after I called the Radisson and they said they’d cancel my reservation if I re-booked.

    • @Michael – keep me posted. The person at the hotel I spoke to said she’d cancel my reservation once I make a new one. So if the rate comes back online I am quickly booking.

  2. To make a long story short, I sent e-mails back and forth with customer service and when there was indisputable proof that I should get the lower rate, I stopped getting replies back. I wrote about my experience in the survey that was sent to ask how my stay was. We’ll see if I get any type of response then.
