American Airlines 10% off Coupons for Citi AAdvantage Credit Card Holders

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here.

Be sure to check your email today as AA is sending out 10% off coupons for existing AAdvantage credit card holders. Currently, this seems to be targeted as Mr. Deals received the email, but I did not.

This promotion is to celebrate their 25th anniversary of the Citi AAdvantage credit card. If you were targeted, you must book your flight by March 25th for travel through June 15th. Blackout dates include: Mar 9-12, 16-18, 23-25; Apr 6-9; May 25-28. Travel is valid from the continental 48 states to all US, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Canada, South America, Central America, Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, or Japan.

For those of you who are bummed about not receiving a coupon code, be on the look out for a blog giveaway soon – more coupon codes for 10% off AA flights!

Also, if you have a coupon code that you are not using that you want to be included in the Deals We Like giveaway, feel free to send it to me at dealswelike@gmail.com – good karma!

Anyone else receive this email today? Any other offers received instead of the 10% off?

UPDATE: I just received my coupon code via email. If you have yet to receive yours wait till the end of the day, it should come! Seems as though they are being sent in waves. It also seems as there are 15% and 25% off offer codes being sent as well!

    • @Josh – That’s great! Last time they did one of these, I received a 10% off coupon, but my husband received a free companion certificate, which was awesome!

  1. Seems like a good deal combined with the 10% discounted GCs from Costco. Doesn’t look like you need to use your AA credit card.

    • @AAdvantageGeek – Oh wow! Jealous of those 25% off ones! However, the time I was hoping to use it is a blackout period 🙁

  2. I got 25% off. Still pretty lame considering I check the price of the same tickets a few days ago and it’s saving me maybe $175 at best to China. Have fun

  3. I got 25% off. Still pretty lame considering I check the price of the same tickets a few days ago and it’s saving me maybe $175 at best to China. I closed my AA anyway. Have fun

  4. Got 15% here – maybe because the last time I used the card was for the 5, $1 gift card in amazon to qualify to 5 transaction and we’ll give you your annual fee back.

    • @Scwam – If you are not using the 25% off code, more than happy to include it in my blog giveaway I’ll be running Monday. Let me know!

  5. Just got a flyer to apply for a card and get up to 50,000 miles. The fine print says that it’s for new card holders only. I had a card 3-4 years ago and cancelled it to avoid the annual fee. Any idea how far back they’ll go before considering me a repeat customer?
