$75 off Hotel Reservations with Jetsetter

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

UPDATE: Looks like Jetsetter pulled this deal early. Also, if you made a reservation using the $75 off promotion code, make sure to double check your rate. Some readers have reported that the $75 wasn’t actually applied.

This is actually an amazing promotion that should not be overlooked. Through tomorrow, October 18, 2012 at 11:59pm EST, you can receive $75 off your next Jetsetter hotel reservation. You must use promotion code jetset75 when checking out (during check out click on the link that says “Redeem promo code or gift code” located right under the Billing Information). While $75 off might not sound anything so great, this can be used for stays of just one night. For example, the Hotel Rex in San Francisco, California is starting at $95/night during the flash sale. After taxes the hotel is $112/night, but with the $75 off you end up spending only a grand total of $37! There are MANY hotels that you can get for under $100 which is amazing (i.e. Las Vegas, Southeast Asia, Costa Rica, etc.)! You can actually stay in Sri Lanka and potentially Las Vegas for free!

The terms and conditions do state that this is limited to one discount per account, and if that does in fact hold (I have not yet booked a reservation, so I do not know for sure), you can always use your friend/family members account that you’ll be traveling with (or maybe an account tied to another email address?).

Now, some hotels do require a minimum 2-night stay, so it will be $75 off your total stay, not each night if booked in one reservation. Also, chain hotels that you book on Jetsetter typically will not earn you any points, so be weary of that if that is the hotel of choice – you will not earn regular points, bonus points, or stay/night credits (although sometimes the hotel does report it when booked with a 3rd party site and you’ll receive your points and stay/night credits).

If you do not currently have a Jetsetter account, you can create one here (which is my referral link). Thanks so anyone who uses it or feel free to find a friend and use theirs. The referrer will receive a $25 credit to use at a future time once the referee makes a reservation with Jetsetter. I personally used Jetsetter last year for a hotel in Barbados and it was great – I was able to get the same hotel I already reserved elsewhere for about $200 less total. Most reservations, however, cannot be cancelled, so keep that in mind when making your reservation!

Goodluck and let me know if you’ve been able to grab any good deals! And remember, rooms can go quick.

@Marcela – Great! Is it at the Casa Madrona hotel?

[…] Deals We Like recently alerted us about a $75 off coupon code (jetset75) for any reservation made on Jetsetter from now through October 18 at 11:59 PM ET. While I’m not a huge fan of Jetsetter (I personally think they’re overpriced and not much of a “deal”), I did use them once for a reservation in Bangkok a few months ago during another promo. One thing to note though: they’re customer service can be frustrating to deal with. […]

Thank you so much! I got it to work for NY for 1 night, but I am on stand by, since there are no rooms available that night. Cross my fingers! They said they will charge my credit card automatically if it goes through. I wonder when they would let me know. thanks again!

We were deciding between Casa Madrona or Waters Edge (Tiburon) and finally decided on Waters Edge since it’s slightly cheaper for a higher room category with water view 🙂 So excited!!

@Marcela – I stayed at the Casa Madrona in April and it was wonderful. However, I biked to Tiburon on another trip to SF a few months ago and it is such a cute town. You can easily take the ferry to SF as well.

I checked out with $255 Total for Alex hotel. I received an email for $330 as the total. I immediately contacted them. They will not give it to me for $75 dollars off. I even told them I have a screenshot with $255 as my total. They will only give me 10% off. Is there anything i can do?

@dc – Did you call the hotel or Jetsetter? Did they give any explanation of why the $75 won’t apply?

DC, sounds like you are getting screwed, just cancel the reservation and book with a better hotel chain

@grant – LOL, sounds like it. I’m not sure if I can find a better deal in New York city for that weekend. Any recommendations? We’re only staying one night with a family of 4.

@ dealswelike – This is what I received from email from jetsetter – The $75 promo had a maximum # of offerings, and we have reached that maximum so the offer has ended. We can offer you a 10% promo-code JETSET10 with a max discount up to $75.00.

When I called jettsetter I received a different story… they told me how the deal was only good for a booking that was over $7 hundred something dollars. I mentioned that it didn’t say that anywhere and I have a screenshot of checkout what I should be paying.

@dc – I am so sorry, that is absolutely ridiculous. Did you speak to a supervisor, or did they fully hold their ground? Although in my opinion they really don’t have any ground to stand on.

Frequent Flyer University

@DC that is exactly what i suspected would happen. Jetsetter sucks. They put these promotions out and then when it gets out of control, they just change the rules. Same thing happened with Groundlink.

Booked the Hotel Rex in SF for $84 yesterday. It applied the discount. How will I know if they will or will not honor it? Have used them before. Have never had a bad experience, but began using them less when I read about so many issues other people have had.

jetsetter site won’t last very long if when you google there name there are only complaints of the company not honoring their own promotions/sales.

I just raised hell with Jetsetter (ultimately, it was the tweets from my professional account with 2K+ followers that got their attention) and they credited my account $75. I’ll be booking my trip this afternoon.
