As a continuation of their Cyber Monday promotion where you could travel Christmas Eve for $100 or less, Southwest is now offering that promo again, but for slightly more travel dates. For tickets purchased by 11:59pm PST today December 4th, you can fly for less than $100 on a one-way ticket on December 18, 19, 24, and 25. If your Christmas time travel is flexible, these dates are a great time to fly (on Southwest or even another airline) as prices typically aren’t heightened due to the vacation/Christmas/New Years travel and you can find some decent deals.

These $100 prices are for non-stop travel and can sell out. Also, if you already have a reservation for one of these dates, check to see if the price went down and if so you can get a credit for the difference. If you paid with points, you’ll receive the point difference back into your account. With both options there are no fees to do this, one of the reasons I love Southwest. You can book at www.southwest.com.

  • Brian said,

It appears almost all flights are cheaper today, not just the selected dates.

The flight I’ve been keeping an eye on from BOS-LAS at the end of Jan, return on Feb is $94 each way or 4,320 points. Usually it’s $129 or 5,800 points.

Today is a good day to lock in a flight with Southwest.
