$13 for $25 Cabela’s Gift Card and $25 Restaurant.com Gift Card… or… make money!

UPDATE: This deal is sold out.

A few weeks ago I posted on EverSave’s Mystery Grab Bag deal where many people were able to take advantage. EverSave is another deal-a-day site where they are offering another Mystery Grab Bag offer for $13. However, unlike last time, they are telling you exactly what you are getting on the check out screen – no no surprises. For $13 you will get a $25 Cabela’s gift card and $25 Restaurant.com gift card. I personally had no idea what Cabela’s was, so I had to google it and found out it is an outdoor type store. They have some brick and mortar stores throughout the US, but also a huge online presence. Since there is no store near me and shipping is not free for in-store purchases, I checked out Cardpool.com to see if I’d be able to sell the gift card and make some money. For the $25 gift card, Cardpool.com will give me $20.50.

Remember, you will be purchasing a online gift card coupon, so you’ll need to purchase a $25 gift card to be sent to you.

This “deal” might be the last thing of interest to some of you, but for those that want to pay less for more gift cards this could be of value. Or, just sell the gift card online and make some money! Also, after you purchase this deal you can then go through Mr.Rebates.com to earn 3% back on your purchase at Cabela’s – a potential 75 cents on your purchase.

If you are new to EverSave, you can sign up here. You will also get $5 in free credit, thus making this deal $8. Additionally, after you purchase the deal (this is for all existing and new users) if you send the deal to a friend (or yourself) you’ll get $2 back in EverSave rewards to use as a future time.

So for my $13 purchase, I will ultimately be getting $20.50 back in cash and a Restaurant.com gift card. I also used Save Rewards in my account, so really only spent $1 out of pocket and $12 in Save Rewards. I then also got back $2 in Save Rewards, so a net of $1 on my credit card and $10 in Rewards. For me, it was a great way to get rid of same Save Rewards before they expire. While this is not a huge money maker at all, I’ll take a quick an easy $9.50 return plus a free restaurant.com gift card any day. I also actively use Restaurant.com so that is a savings of about $4 to me on a future purchase – net return for me is $13.50.

Enjoy!
