To celebrate Dallas Love Field’s 42nd birthday, Southwest is offering $42 fares for flights to/from Dallas. Unfortunately though, dates and routes are limited. You must book by 11:59pm (of the originating city local time) Thursday April 18, 2013. This is also only for Tuesday and Wednesday travel through June 6, 2013.

It also seems that eligible city routes are limited and includes: Amarilla, Branson, Harlingen, Houston, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, and Tulsa. And only the nonstop flights are discounted. If you have the need, these are some pretty cheap flights! You can find out more here.

Remember, through May 15th you’ll earn double points on all flights. So your $42 fare will give you 504 points which is worth $8.40 towards future travel – a 20% rebate essentially.
