For the month of May and June, Starwood Gold and Platinum members can receive a special offer when dining at participating SPG restaurants. This is a pretty good deal as there are many great restaurants out there that are part of a Starwood hotel and you might not even realize it. Keep in mind though, this promotion is only valid at select Starwood hotels – in the United States only 27 are participating. You can check out all participating restaurants here. Also, the best part is that for these discounts is you DO NOT have to actually be a guest at the hotel.

For example, Turner Fisheries Restaurant & Bar which is in the Copley Mall in Boston is actually part of the Westin hotel there. At this restaurant, SPG Gold and Platinum members will receive a complimentary appetizer along with a discount of 20%.

While I wish this promotion wasn’t as limited as it is, there are still some good restaurants to take advantage of, especially if you happen to find yourself staying at a participating SPG hotel.
