Southwest Airlines is giving 30% off very select flights for travel on August 27, September 1, September 6, September 10, September 17, and September 24. While 30% off flights is a great discount, having only 6 eligible dates is slightly disappointing. However, if you are planning on traveling one of those dates, definitely take advantage by using promo code SAVE30.

Here are some things to note though:

  • Roundtrip travel is required (If one direction of the trip is outside the valid dates and one is within the valid travel, only the portion of travel falling within sale dates will be discounted)
  • Only valid on Wanna Get Away fares
  • Must book by July 4, 2013 at 11:59pm from the respective time zone of the originating city

If you have an existing reservation on one of these dates, to get the 30% off, you must cancel your existing reservation and rebook using the promotional code. If the fare price hasn’t gone up much, than applying the 30% off discount might be cheaper, just make sure to look up the price in advance of canceling your existing reservation.
