10% off Hyatt Gift Cards

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here.

Through December 31, 2013, you can get 10% off Hyatt gift cards using promotion code GPGIFT. Prepaid rates are not eligible to use gift cards as you need to use them when you check out of your hotel room and prepaid rates will charge your credit card prior to your arrival. Also, per the terms and conditions, gift cards can only be used “toward eligible purchases at participating Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in the U.S., Canada and Caribbean.” You are limited to $2,000 in purchases per account.

A month or so ago I wrote about another way to ALWAYS get 10% off Hyatt gift card purchases by purchasing a MilePoint Premium Membership. One of the perks with this membership is that you can purchase up to $5,000 in gift cards with 10% off.

The 10% off code also works on Hyatt Stay certificates. These are fixed priced certificates that can be used at participating Hyatt hotels.

Also, if you use an American Express Open card you will get 5% back for your Hyatt purchase. Keep in mind that the 5% back (or 2 additional Membership Reward points) is up to $10,000 in spend per year. You can learn more about this program here.

Thanks to View from the Wing for sharing this promotion!

  1. MMS posted a 15% discount code a couple months ago good until Jan 2014. I don’t know if that code is still active, but if it is, can that code be used in conjunction with Hyatt gift cards from this promo?
