Current Uber Promotions

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, you are probably well educated on what Uber is, but in case you have not been paying attention or new to this site, Uber is an “On-demand car service that allows everyone to have a private driver experience through iPhone, SMS, and web based requests.” It is less expensive than a car service, but slightly more expensive than a yellow cab. Your credit card is stored in your account so there is no exchange of money at the end of the ride. A 20% gratuity is automatically added as well. Cars are extremely new/clean and the company will even text you with the drivers name for extra security.

So now onto the current promotions…

  • $20 Referral Credit: Through April 25, 2014, you can get $20 in credits by signing up through someones referral link. After this date the referral sign up will go down to $10. This credit does not expire and can be used on multiple rides. Here is my referral link, or feel free to use a friends link and they will earn $20 as well after you take your first ride ($10 if your first ride is after 4/25/14)!
  • Free Uber Rides in Tampa: This week and next you can take an unlimited number of Uber rides for free in Tampa and St. Petersburg (up to $50 per ride). No promotion code needed. However, availability will be limited since Uber is still in the testing phase in this area. More info here.
  • Free Uber Rides in Cleveland: Through April 23, you can get up to 5 free Uber rides (up to $25 per ride) in the Greater Cleveland area. No promotion code needed. More info here.
  • 20% off to/from Hard Candy Fitness Locations in Toronto: Use promotion code HCFRide to receive 20% off 2 trips (up to $10 each) starting or ended at Hard Candy Fitness Locations. This promotion ends at April 30, 2014.

Enjoy!
