Tomorrow’s Daily Getaway promotion (Week 3, Day 1) is offering certain Omni Hotel & Resorts properties at a discount.
With this offer you can get:
- 1 Night at an Exclusive Omni Hotel (participating list here) for $265 (10 available)
- 2 Nights at a Premier Omni Hotel (participating list here) for $375 (33 available)
- 2 Nights at a Select Omni Hotel (participating list here) for $270 (49 available)
- 2 Nights at a Standard Omni Hotel (participating list here) for $180 (36 available)
With all other hotel deals, make sure you are actually getting the best rate for your stay. I would definitely research ahead of time to see what rate you can get directly with Omni or a third party site. For example, I looked up the Omni hotel in Orlando and saw that I could get a rate of $109 for many weekends this summer, and even $104 with the AAA rate. And this is a “Premier” hotel so would cost you as low as $169 a night. However, I looked up the Omni Parker House in Boston, and the per night rate is well over $200/night, so grabbing a certificate for this “Premier” hotel is definitely worth it and a money saver. Keep in mind though that these certificates include tax while the rates you find online probably will have tax added on later in the reservation process. Some hotels will be worth it depending on the date, while some will not – just make sure to do your research ahead of time.
All of these offers require a Friday or Saturday check-in and the certificate expires December 31, 2014. So you really only have 6 months to use it and are limited on dates. The terms also state that blackout dates apply, so I suggest calling the hotel directly to ensure your desired hotel date is not blacked out.
If you have a specific redemption in mind and know that purchasing this offer will be cheaper then going through the hotel directly, then it is a good deal, but I would not suggest speculatively purchasing these certificates.
This deal will go on sale at 1pm EST TOMORROW Monday June 2nd. There are a limited number of available, so these could go fast. I just suggest getting to your computer a few minutes ahead of time. Also remember, like all other Daily Getaway promotions, you’ll receive 10% off the purchase price if you use any American Express credit card!
