Use your Citi AAdvantage Credit Card and Earn Admirals Club Passes

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Citi is sending out targeted offers for those that are AAdvantage Credit Card members. The offer is to get you to spend X dollars on the card on certain spend categories and you’ll receive 2 Admirals Club One-Day passes. Both my husband and I have the credit card and received two different offers:

  • Spend $250 at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and department stores by 9/30/14 to receive the 2 passes
  • Spend $600 at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and department stores by 9/30/14 to receive the 2 passes

The requirements were fairly similar accept the spend threshold, but both were pretty minimal in my opinion. Putting this amount of spend on the card to receive the passes is well worth it in my opinion (assuming you don’t already have a card that gives you lounge access).

These offers should have come in your mail in the past week or so and you must enroll to be eligible. You will need to respond to the offer by 8/31 and the offer starts 2 business days post enrollment.

Did anyone else receive this targeted offer? If you have an Citi AAdvantage credit card make sure to go through your junk mail to see if you received the offer.

While I do not recommend using the Citi AAdvantage credit card for everyday spend, this is an offer to take advantage of.

I received one, two passes for $600 in spend. Not worth it as I already have 4 Citi Exec cards for the moment.

As for resale, I’d have to redirect $600 in spend by the end of September and the two passes might go for $30 or so based on eBay current prices. So say $60 back on $600. I can do that just by putting the spend on our Freedom cards this quarter, and not sure I’ll max those out. Without any resale or whatever.

Nope.

Mine was for $250 for purchase from electronic store for computer, tablet, etc. I called and said I buy my equipment from Staples and was told that would not work. Purchases must come IBM, Dell, HO, Apple, etc. Maybe I’ll look at old refurbished gen2 ipads and see what I can find. So, its not what you buy, but where. That makes it very restrictive and they do not publish a list. To much work for me

Can you please tell me the offer/promotion code? I signed up for this $600 gas/groceries/restaurants promotion back in June, and never got passes. Now Customer Service doesn’t even know what I’m talking about and can’t even find the promotion in their system. They are asking ME for the code, so I can start the process of proving I actually signed up for it. Terrible customer service … hope someone still has the offer printed or in an old e-mail. Thanks much!
