Through September 23, 2014, you can earn an additional 10,000 bonus miles by making your hotel reservations with the hotel booking site Rocketmiles. To receive this bonus, you must stay 10 nights by this date. These bonus miles are also in addition to the normal miles earned also. It is also available for both new and existing customers, which is great!
I personally have not had too much luck finding a “deal” through Rocketmiles, but if you are staying at a non-chain hotel it can definitely be a great opportunity to earn miles when there is no attached loyalty program. You can also book a chain hotel, but that means you will be forgoing the regular points earned with the hotel, so you’ll need to decide what you’d prefer. Typically the Rocketmiles price is the best hotel price available via the hotel directly, but it doesn’t take into consideration other discounts such as AAA, corporate rates, etc.
This promotion cannot be combined with other new customer promotions currently available. But, it can be combined with the 1,000 bonus miles just for signing up and making your first reservation.

New customers get 1000 miles with their first booking. New customers may want to use the offer for 5000 United miles with a 3 night stay or one of the semi-regular 3000 mile first booking offers. Each Rocketmiles bonus usually requires using a specific promotion page to start your booking in order to qualify for the bonus.
Existing customers are eligible for the 10,000 bonus miles after 10 nights offer. New customers are as well and should be able to stack it with the 1000 mile first-time customer bonus. But neither the 10,000 bonus miles for 10 nights nor the 1000 mile first-time customer bonuses are usually stackable with the 3000 or 5000 mile first-time booking bonuses.
