12.5% Off Hyatt Gift Cards

I’ve written about purchasing gift cards through Raise.com before, but I just received an email that through end of day today (Friday, February 27th), they are offering an additional 4% off the already discounted prices of around 9%! With the current offer and the combination of the two discounts, you can purchase a Hyatt gift card for 12.5% off. This is actually the exact same discount you can get by purchasing Hyatt gift cards through Newegg.com with their current American Express Offer (which expires tomorrow). For those new to Raise.com, it is essentially an online site where you can purchase gift cards to many merchants at a discount! During checkout, make sure to enter promotion code EXTRA4. This is the highest discount I’ve seen for gift card purchases at Raise.com thus far for Hyatt gift cards. This extra 4% off is also valid at Staples, Five Guys, Victoria’s Secret, and Dunkin Donuts.

Gift card amounts range anywhere between $50 and $500, although some of them also do not have as high of a percentage off. The additional 4% off is for Hyatt, Hyatt Place, and Hyatt House gift cards. Regardless of the gift card you purchase, you can use them at all Hyatt hotels in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean regardless of the brand underneath the Hyatt umbrella.

So if purchasing Hyatt gift cards at a discount if of interest I suggest moving fast – there are not too many available (about 100 or so). Gift cards do not expire and once purchased they will be available in your Raise.com account within 24 hours where you can print them out.

Also, while this is a good deal for those paying for an upcoming stay, you can also maximize if you are using points for a free night! As long as you put all hotel charges on your room (food, activities, etc.), you can pay for those incidentals at checkout with your gift card! For example, I have an upcoming stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and I can purchase lift tickets at the hotel directly and have them billed to my room. This means I can use a discounted Hyatt gift card and earn points on the lift tickets.

If you are new to Raise.com you can sign up here. Additionally, through the end of February you can use the code RAISE75AF to get an additional $5 off a $75+ transaction.

  1. Thanks for the heads up. Bought two $250 GCs.
Possible additional savings: Go through TopCashBack for an additional 2% off. Might not work, but I still got my 12.5% discount, so doesn’t hurt to try.
