Daily Getaways: Diamond Resorts International

Today’s Daily Getaway promotion (Week 1, Day 4) is offering a 5 night hotel stay at 63 participating Diamond Resorts International hotels. The 5-night stay is going for $525. Unfortunately though there are only 200 available so this one could go quick, although I am honestly not too sure how popular they will be.

There are 68 participating properties which you can view here. These are timeshare properties, but you do not have to participate in any preview offer. The good thing about timeshare properties is many of them have some sort of kitchen and possibly washer/dryer. This voucher is valid for a 1-bedroom room, which typically means separate living room and bedroom. The certificate is valid through May 8, 2016.

If you are looking to stay at one of the participating hotels this can be a great deal at $105/night. I personally would do some research ahead of time to ensure you cannot stay at the desired hotel for less then that. The terms state that it is subject to blackout dates and availability, so I suggest calling Diamond Resorts International with any questions you have regarding a specific resort. Each resort will have their own peak time.. I’d also checkout TripAdvisor for reviews.

For example, the Ka’anapali Beach Club in Maui is going for close to $300/night (including taxes) for a random low-season date I picked. It also gets pretty good reviews on TripAdvisor. For this particular hotel, you’ll definitely save some money with this Daily Getaways offer. And remember, taxes are included in the package price. The only thing I am not sure about is if you’ll need to pay the additional resort fees, or if that is included in the package price as well. I just highly suggest making sure to find out all the details ahead of purchasing (blackout dates, price, etc.) so you can ensure you are actually getting a deal and will be able to use the voucher.

This deal will go on sale at 1pm EST TODAY Thursday March 26. Quantities are limited, so I suggest getting on your computer a few minutes ahead of time. Have you ever purchased/redeemed one of these vouchers? If so, please share your experience in the comments section! Thanks.
