Thanks to The Flight Deal for finding some great fares to Europe from the US! For less than $700 roundtrip, you can fly to the following European cities:

  • Amsterdam
  • Milan
  • Rome
  • Zurich
  • Brussels

From the following cities within the US:

  • Los Angeles
  • San Jose
  • Portland
  • Seattle
  • Chicago
  • Boston
  • Baltimore
  • Washington D.C. (Dulles and Reagan)
  • Fort Lauderdale

While $650 still isn’t cheap, it is far less than the normal ticket price. The Flight Deal also found that this fare sale is available on most dates through December 21, 2015.

Here are some sample itineraries that I pulled for a random date in October.

Flight Deal to Europe
Boston to Rome for $652 with a short layover at JFK.
Flight Deal to Europe
Chicago to Amsterdam for $649 roundtrip with a layover in Philly. There are also options for this route to layover in Helsinki.
Flight Deal to Europe
Ft. Lauderdale to Brussels for $651 with a layover in Philly

Los Angeles to Zurich for $656!

For those looking to go to Europe, enjoy! While I did not look up every fare route they seem to include very reasonable layovers and there is a ton of availability. These fares are with American, so you can always put them on hold through AA.com for 24 hours (actually until 11:59 MT the following night). Or, if you book with Priceline or Orbitz you can book now and have 24 hours to cancel.
