As I do every morning, I opened up my AmericanExpress.com app to see what new Amex Offers popped up. I was extremely happy to see that a grocery shopping offer appeared for ShopRite. The offer is a $20 statement credit on a $75+ purchase. Unfortunately though, there is no Twitter hashtag and was not available on my accounts (3 out of 5). And with this offer, you can take advantage 3 times per registered card! Remember to use the multi browser trick when adding these offers to your account!
Stacking with other offers…
Yesterday, Angelina Travels, wrote that on November 27 and 28, if you purchase $100 on any gift cards at ShopRite (excluding ShopRite store gift cards), you’ll get a voucher for $20 to use at a later time. ShopRite sells many gift cards, such as California Pizza Kitchen, Macy’s, Marshalls, iTunes, Nordstrom, Old Navy, eBay, Sears, Shell, Staples, Starbucks, etc. There are MANY merchant gift cards sold there, as well as Visa, American Express, and MasterCard gift cards.
This promotion is limited to $20 voucher per person and the voucher is valid from November 29 through December 5, 2015. If you purchase a $100 gift card with a registered American Express credit card, you’ll receive a $20 voucher back + a $20 statement credit. This ultimately means a 40% savings on the gift card purchased!
If you don’t have a ShopRite nearby…
The terms of this offer state that it is valid for online or in-store purchases. ShopRites are only located in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. So if you do not live near one of those locations, you can place an order online for delivery. Currently, ShopRite is offering free delivery! And their prices seem to be on par with any other grocery store. The terms specifically state that orders from ShopRiteDelivers DO qualify. Unfortunately though, you are not able to purchase gift cards to other merchants online and won’t be able to take advantage of the stacking promo. But this will still give you about 27% off your grocery order!
