Last week I wrote about a munch of Amex Offers that were set to expire at the end of the year. However, I wanted to specifically point out the offers that will save you a ton of money specifically on travel. While some of these offers are direct airline and hotel merchants, other are random stores where you can purchase travel related gift cards and trigger the statement credit.

  • W Hotels: Spend $400+, get a $80 statement credit. Blog Post
    • Tip: Will only work for charges that hit your credit card statement by December 31st, but if you have a pre-paid stay and it charges your credit card before the stay, it will trigger the statement credit. This is ONLY for Westin hotels in the US, not other hotels under the Starwood umbrella.
  • Westin Hotels & Resorts: Spend $250+, get a $50 statement credit.  Blog Post

Great article I have taken advantage of quite a few of these offers, as a business traveler it is like free money 🙂 The Embassy Suites and Uber offers were very useful in particular, my wife however loved the Dollar General one she gets some teaching supplies there.
