Gilt.com is giving new members $20 for just signing up for their site. Gilt is a top online deal site where you can purchase many items, including toys, clothes, furniture, bags, etc. at a discount. Even if you do not want to typically purchase through this site, you might as well claim your free item!

You’ll notice while searching for an item and adding it to your cart, it tells you that you have $20 credits available. The $20 credits can be applied to not only the discounted cost of the item, but also tax and shipping which is great! There is no minimum purchase required for the $20 credit to be applied! You can sign up for Gilt.com with the $20 credits here.

While shipping is a flat $7.95, IF you use Masterpass to pay at checkout you MIGHT get free shipping by adding promotion code MPFREE. MasterPass (which is similar to Visa Checkout) essentially stores your credit card info and allows you to pay with any credit card (it does NOT need to be a MasterCard). Just select the MasterPass option at checkout and if you do not already have a MasterPass account you will need to create one. You can check out the success of other users at Dans Deals. Some are able to get it to work, others are not. You must change from the UNLIMITED shipping option to the STANDARD shipping option. And if an unlimited shipping option is not there, then the free shipping definitely won’t work (which is the case with some of the toy brands). Even if you cannot get the free shipping to work, you can still find some pretty cheap items. I personally ended up buying four Sesame Street books that cost me a total $0.95.

Thanks, Jen, for the detailed instructions. I bought a $100 necklace for $19 (it was also on sale)! Free shipping with MasterPass and MPFREE (though paid with Discover).

Hi,
I found out that if you don’t sign in with someone’s referral code link, new accounts will NOT get the $20 off.
The description given at the top of the page did not specify that, and in fact the first link will cause you to make that mistake.
So, here is my link, since I failed to get the $20 as a new customer. https://www.gilt.com/invite/M3P4NNCH
thanks for helping out.
