This is a reminder to take advantage of the free $10 promotional code from Amazon – IF you were targeted! For targeted Amazon.com accounts, if you purchase a $50 gift card you’ll receive a a free $10 promotion code to use at Amazon at a future time. To see if you are eligible, you’ll need to sign onto your Amazon account, add a $50 gift card to your cart and use the promotional code 0216GCARDS to see if it accepts the code. You can also check to see if you are eligible by going straight to this Amazon site.

While I was not targeted this time around, I have been able to take advantage of a similar offer multiple times in the past and everything went smoothly. I purchased my $50 gift card, applied it to my account, received my $10 promotional credit within a reasonable time, and was able to apply it to my account and use it a few days later. Unfortunately, there really doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to their targeting system.
