Last week I wrote about a new Hyatt promotion where you can earn up to 75,000 bonus points. This is the first promotion Hyatt has offered in quite some time and is actually quite decent for those that stay at Hyatt hotels often. This promotion runs between April 1 and June 30, 2016 and you’ll need to register for this promotion here.

The Points Earned

With this promotion, the more nights you stay, the more points you’ll earn. You can earn a maximum of 75,000 points after 25 nights. If you only have a few nights at a Hyatt hotel during this promotion, you unfortunately probably won’t receive any bonus. In my opinion, this promotion is great or the business traveler, but not for the casual guest.

Qualifying Nights

Remember, only qualifying nights will count for this promotion. This includes all nights that are booked through Hyatt directly (third party sites, like Expedia, are ineligible). Points + Cash reservations count as well, although stays booked with all points will not count.

Overall…

One of the better promotions we’ve seen from Hyatt in a while, but I definitely miss the promotions years ago where you could earn a free night at any Hyatt just after two stays! It looks like those days are over, but compared to the other chain hotel promotions, this is one of the better ones.
