A Few New Amex Offers

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here.

There are a few new Amex offers that have appeared in my account. With these offers you can receive a statement credit by using your registered American Express credit card at participating merchants. Unfortunately, most of these offers are not available via Twitter and can only be found on your AmericanExpress.com account. That means these offers are targeted and you’ll need to use the multiple browser trick to register for the same offer on multiple cards. If you happen to find Twitter hashtags that are not listed below, please let me know!

I absolutely love the American Express Offers concept and have received a bunch of statement credits due to making purchase with a registered Amex credit card. Remember, these promotions are only valuable to those with an American Express card (no Corporate or prepaid cards) and is only a one-time statement credit. Serve and Bluebird cards are now eligible, but Target REDCard is not. There are also limits to the number of people who can register so I suggest doing it now!

If you have multiple Amex cards, you will need to sync them to different accounts. To learn more about these American Express offers, read this Amex Offers series:

Comments

  1. used to be some great offers. Now it looks like loser companies who are willing to pay AmEx extra $$ to list them. I’ll stick with Chase cards for now.

  2. Is it just me, or are Amex Offers kinda over? Last year, by this time we’d had Verizon, Lowe’s, Chevron, Sam’s… and of course the absurdly rich Smart & Final offer. This year, I’ve had… some restaurants, a place to buy weird pillows, an off-brand herbal supplement retailer, etc.

      • @Steve and Rose – I do not fully agree. While the offers might be different and maybe not as lucrative, I’ve still benefited by them in 2016. Currently, there is a cell phone and cable bill statement credit offer (although targeted) that will give a $30 statement per bill. There is also a google shopping express offer, where I’ve received a total of $60 back between 4 cards – of course that only helps if google shopping is in your area. I am personally going to take advantage of the Casper mattress offer. Was actually going to order a mattress from there in June, so that will give me a $100 statement credit offer. I know this is for a limited audience, but on a whim it is helping me! There is also a Hertz, BJ’s, and Home Depot offer.

I’d love to see the big money making offers come out soon too, but there were MANY in December that were extremely lucrative, so I have faith that there will be some this year too.

        • I had $10 off $30 @ Puritan’s Pride on all 4 cards and happily did a wonderful vitamin stock-up: free quick shipping, good competitive pricing and the portals (and with coupons) paid like a charm to add even more value to a good deal. Offers are cyclical: if you’re not enthusiastic now, hang in there, your time will come.

  3. @dealwelike I have only been offered one or two of the ones you mention in your last comment. Not everyone is targeted for every offer. My only offer to date worth mentioning is the cell phone offer. I agree with other posters that so far in 2016 the offers have been terrible and from merchants I would never purchase from. I rely on the Amex Offers to subsidize my annual fee but so far this year that’s just not happening.
