JetBlue is having a sale with flights starting at $39 one way. Although the sale states “starting at $49 one-way” there are some routes as low as $39 each way!! This is for travel August 22 through November 17, 2016. Blackout dates = 9/5 and 10/10 for all cities, plus 11/10-10/16 for JFK, LGA, EWR, and HPN. While the terms state that the sale fares excludes Friday and Sunday travel, I see many routes where every day of the week is discounted. So if you are looking to travel any day during the week I still suggest looking into this sale as you might be pleasantly surprised. This JetBlue sale is going on through end of day tonight, July 27, 2016.

Remember, you have 24 hours to cancel a flight after it is booked for a full refund if you want to “book now and figure it out later.” If your plans are flexible, use the JetBlue Fare Finder which will give you the cheapest price for every day of the month.

Already booked a flight and the price went down? Also, if you’ve booked a flight in the past 14 days and the fare price has decreased, give JetBlue a call and they’ll give you a credit voucher for the price difference. Or, if you are a JetBlue Mosaic member, you can cancel for free and apply the funds to the cheaper flight.

Take Advantage for 75,000 Bonus Points!!!

This is a great sale to look into to see if there are any cheap flights available to take advantage of the AMAZING JetBlue bonus offer that was announced a few weeks ago. You can read more about it here, but unfortunately the registration date has ended. If you did register (and were approved) for the promotion, you must take a roundtrip flight by August 31, 2016 to earn your “matched” points. Last time they ran a similar sale, I was able to find $90 roundtrip flights from Boston to Newark. And, I see those exact same fares available this go-around too! With my parents and two little ones in tow, I am flying into Newark and 30 minutes flying back home! This mileage run is going to earn all five of us 75,000 JetBlue points EACH, worth approx $5,500 TOTAL!

  1. For the Jetblue points match, can you fly in and out of a location on the same day or do you need to arrive and depart on separate days? Thanks!
