AT&T Members Getting Hooked Up with Amex Offers

American Express just launched a great Amex Offers promotion where you can get a $50 statement credit with just a $150 AT&T purchase. And the best part is that you can take advantage of this offer 3 times! If you have AT&T service, this is literally $150 in free money! This offer seems to only be available via the AmericanExpress.com “Amex Offers For You” tab and seems to be targeted to just business credit cards.

Since I am not an AT&T customer, this offer has really no use to me (although I was targeted on both my Amex business cards!), but for those who have AT&T service this is awesome and I am super jealous! Remember though, it must be a $150 in a single transaction, so if your AT&T bill is less than that, make sure to pay next months bill in advance. Just pay $150 and you will be good to go. AT&T would love to have your money ahead of time! Also, this is only valid for paying your wireless bill or other service charges online directly with AT&T at att.com/smallbusiness or by phone at 1800-331-0500. Making $150 worth of purchases in store will not qualify. This offer expires December 1, 2016.

To register your Amex card to this promotion:

  • Sign into your AmericanExpress.com account and go to the “Amex Offers For You” tab
  • Find the AT&T Wireless offer and make sure to select the “Save Offer” button

  1. Although it has the small business wireless wording and URL, I can confirm we got the offer on two different non-business AMEX cards. As it happens I have an AT&T wireless account, a monthly bill in the neighborhood of that amount and do operate a small business, but looks like I can’t get this offer since my wireless account is managed through AT&T’s personal accounts site.

Yes, I am going to try and see what happens anyway.

  2. Sounds great. However, is this available to regular ‘residential’ customers or do you have to be a small business?
    Thanks for the heads-up,
    Gary

  3. I got this on my personal Starwood card and I use AT&T for my wireless. However, my wireless account is personal not business, so it didn’t work. It wouldn’t let me log into my account on the business site, saying I didn’t have an account.

  4. I have a residential account (Not a business account) so when I logged in to try to pay under att.com/smallbusiness – it didn’t look like I could take advantage of the $50 credit; however, I called the 1800# and made a payment over the phone. I just rec’d an email from AMEX saying the deal was triggered and I should see my $50 credit soon! THIS IS AWESOME!

  5. I signed on and made a $150 payment and got the congrats email. I tried to make another payment and the at&t website wouldn’t take my payment. Has anyone else had this problem. I’m trying to get all my payments in before this offer expires.
