The $100 Statement Credit at Ritz-Carlton with Amex Offers is Available to Everyone… And on Every Single Amex Card!

Yesterday I wrote about a new Amex Offer for those with upcoming stays at Ritz-Carlton hotels. You’ll earn a $100 statement credit with a $500+ transaction, which is typically very easy to do at a Ritz hotel, unfortunately! At the time of writing the post, I mentioned that it was not available via Twitter and just your AmericanExpress.com account. While I saw it on most of my Amex cards, many readers did not and assumed it was a highly targeted offer.

Well… I have good news to share. This offer IS available via Twitter (#AmexRC). This means you can enroll every single Amex card you have and take advantage of this offer multiple times. It also means you can use other co-branded cards that have the Amex logo (i.e., Bloomingdales, Macy’s, etc.). If you do not know how to register for an Amex Offer via Twitter, read this post. You just need a unique Twitter account per card you have. Thanks to my readers for letting me know about the Twitter hashtag!

This is a great way to save money at a Ritz-Carlton hotel. If you have an expensive upcoming stay, make sure to split your payment amongst all of your registered Amex cards during checkout. I also do not believe (although not 100% sure) Ritz-Carlton hotels sell gift cards. But if they do, you can always go to your local Ritz hotel and purchase a $500 gift card to then use at a future stay. Feel free to let me know if you have any positive experience purchasing gift cards.

    • @David – Correct, you cannot purchase gift cards online. But, if Ritz sells gift cards at their locations (which I do not believe they do), they you’d be able to purchase a gift card at the hotel. For example, when Hyatt has their Amex Offers, some Hyatt’s sell gift cards and while you cannot purchase a gift card directly online, if you go into one of their hotels and purchase a gift card it will trigger the statement credit.
