If you are a Hyatt credit card holder, you are eligible to earn a $50 statement credit for stays at Hyatt Place or Hyatt House properties within the U.S.! You just need to spend a combined $300 on your credit card and the $50 statement credit is yours!
While you have until January 1, 2018 to meet that $300 spend, you must register by October 30, 2017. So that means if you are not currently a Hyatt cardmember, there is still time to apply for the card, get approved, and apply.
Hyatt has been hitting it hard lately with the Hyatt credit card specific offers. My assumption is they are low on the number of folks who actually have the credit card and are trying to entice more people to sign up.

Hyatt Play?
“Hyatt Play” shows there was no proofreading, but the subject line presumably should have said “hyatt house” (not “hyatt hotel”). That is actual misinformation since it broadens the actual use of the promotion.
