Last Day for your $10 Amazon Promotional Credit

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

If you send a $50 Amazon Gift Card to someone (via text message), you’ll receive a $10 promotional credit automatically applied to your account. And the best part is that you can always just send a gift card to yourself and still receive the bonus gift card! This promotion expires October 17, 2017 (and you have until November 27, 2017 to use the promotional credit).

Unfortunately, this is a targeted offer so only eligible customers will receive the promotional credit. You can see if you are eligible here. Sign into your Amazon account and if you see an Amazon website with the image above then you are eligible. If you see a “Unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer†notice, then your account was not targeted.

When you go to send the $50 gift card, make sure you select the “Text Message†option and include the persons cell number (or your own cell number). I personally sent a $50 gift card to myself and the text message containing the gift card details popped up on my phone in 3 minutes. I then immediately applied the gift card to my Amazon account (you can do this straight from the text you receive). This took a few minutes of my time and will give me a bonus $10 to Amazon. Since I shop at Amazon almost daily, I’ll take some free money any day!
