For the next 3 days, you can receive a 25% discount on the cash portion of a “Points + Cash Reservation” for stays through December 31, 2017. This is for all IHG hotels and there are no exclusions! This is a great offer and many while these types of discounts are frequent from IHG they typically are at a lower 15% discount. So this is a great opportunity to use less points for an upcoming stay! This promotion ends October 26, 2017. UPDATE: It looks like this is a targeted offer.
While a 25% discount on the cash portion is great, keep in mind IF you are a IHG credit card holder, you also receive a 10% rebate on the points portion since it is one of the everyday perks of being a card holder. So let’s say you are looking to make a reservation that requires 30,000 points and $50 cash, that will ultimately only cost you 27,000 points and $37.50.

I would take advantage of this promotion if I were seeing 25% discount rates on the cash portion.
IHG website is rather glitchy for past 12 hours. When I search London, UK only 4 hotels show up. Makes it hard to book my stays in London when the website won’t show me the hotels I want to book.
I agree with Ric, the website doesn’t show any discount on the cash portion of the rate. For instance a November stay in Chicago still shows a $60 cash co-pay with 35000 points (10000 fewer points). No discount
This only seems to work for cardholders. Any idea if/when they are opening it to everyone?
I have logged in and I have a IHG CC. I picked some dates within the parameters set but I do not see any discount on the cash part given. Anyone else seeing the discount?
I called IHG it seems that its targeted as they cant see it on their side.
I’m a IHG CC holder as well and I’m not seeing the discount, tried both US and outside US hotels.
I am an IHG member and have an IHG credit card. I have tried several times and go to the final stage of checking out but do not see any discount. Do we need a code? Does it happen after you pay even though you don’t see it when you are authorizing the amount to be paid? Thank you
