Fully Maximizing Amazon’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals!

Earlier today I wrote about a ton of Black Friday deals going on at Amazon. While today offered some great deals, Amazon is actually having “Black Friday Week” so I believe we will see a new set of deals tomorrow, then again on Sunday, and again on Cyber Monday. I’ll be sure to write about all the new deals as they appear!

So while Amazon might have some great offers out there, there are two different promotions to double dip your savings! Unfortunately though they are only available for American Express Membership Reward card members and are still targeted for those customers.

Promo #1:

Spend $60 or more at Amazon.com and get $30 off! This is an AMAZING deal since all you have to do is use just 1 Membership Reward point towards your purchase! Steps to register for the promotion and see if you are eligible:

  • If you haven’t already linked your American Express card to your Amazon account, you can do that here.
  • Check to see if you are eligible for this offer here. If so, make sure to click the “Click here to activate†button.
  • Shop at Amazon.com and add $60 worth of products (which must be sold and shipped by Amazon.com) to your Shopping card. Many merchant gift cards work as well, so you can go ahead and search for merchant gift cards here.
  • On the payment page, select your linked Membership Rewards earning credit card. At the bottom of the payment page you’ll see all your linked accounts where you can use points (Chase and Amex). Select your American Express Membership Rewards Points account and enter the number of points you want to use towards your purchase. Since I do not like redeeming my points at Amazon (due to the low redemption value), I entered just 1 cent which means 1 point will be applied. For the promotion to apply, the minimum amount required is only 1 point! Do not do full points as it is not a good value!

  • On the checkout page, you’ll see the 1 point applied and the $30 taken off. No promotion code needed!

  • And since this promotion doesn’t require a coupon code, you should be able to combine it with any codes that surface!

Promo #2:

This promotion will give you 15% off at Amazon.com on multiple transactions for select category purchases. While there is no coupon code to activate, you must use a promotion code during checkout. Here are the steps to take advantage of this promotion and to see if you are eligible.

  • If you haven’t already linked your American Express card to your Amazon account, you can do that here.
  • Check to see if you are eligible for this promotion here
  • Shop at Amazon.com at these select categories and during checkout you’ll receive 15% off.

  • On the checkout page, you’ll need to enter the promotion code listed above for the correct category. You’ll then see the 15% taken off.

Enjoy your extra savings on top of the already discounted Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales!

Nice click bait headline. Getting close to unsubscribing from your site completely as this seems to be more and more common coming from you.

Disappointing.

Thanks for the post (and I enjoyed your presentation at the FTU in Chicago a week or so ago). I tried Promo #1 based on someone else’s blog but it did not work for me. However, I followed your instructions (bought gift cards instead of products) and it worked. Very nice.
