Some things to keep in mind…

When applying, there are some things to know:

  • American Express has a “one in a lifetime” policy where if you’ve received the offer in the past for the exact same card, then you are no longer eligible to receive the offer again. If you’ve received the offer for another version of the card, then you are still eligible for the offer! For example, if you’ve received the bonus offer for the Starwood personal card in the past, you are still eligible for the Starwood business card.
  • All American Express business credit cards give you access to American Express OPEN savings. This gives you 5% statement credit when you use your card at many merchants, including: FedEx, Hertz, etc. You can read more about AMEX Open savings here.
  • American Express business credit cards DO NOT count against Chase’s “5/24” rule. This means that applying for the business version of the Starwood or Delta card will not put you at a disadvantage of applying for Chase cards down the line.
  • All the offers above give you access to Amex Offers where you can receive statement credits at many popular merchants.
