13% off Hotels.com Coupon Code

For Hotels.com reservations booked by July 4, 2013 you can get 13% off your hotels.com reservation by using coupon code SUMMER13. This code is valid for all reservations through October 14, 2013. This coupon is valid only for new hotel bookings, but if you have a reservation booked that you are able to cancel, feel free to cancel and re-book (just make sure your original reservation isn’t passed the cancellation date and the price hasn’t increased). While hotels.com typically has various coupon codes, the norm is 5% of 10% off, so this 13% off is great!

The coupon excludes:

  • Package bookings
  • Bookings made through a group travel service
  • Bookings paid for at a hotel
  • Bookings paid for in a foreign currently
  • Bookings at non-participating hotels (you can check out excluded hotels here – mostly chain hotels)

Additionally, reservations using this coupon is NOT eligible for their Welcome Rewards program. Keep this in mind when making your reservation. The Hotels.com Welcome Rewards program gives you 1 free night after 10 paid nights, so essentially 10% off if you get to the 10 night threshold. In this scenario using the 13% off code is more valuable. Also, last year I booked a few hotels through Hotels.com with a coupon code and still got nights towards my Welcome Rewards account, so there is always the chance they will still count.

Remember, you can also book through a cash back portals for extra savings. For example, Topcashback.com will give you 7% back, Bigcrumbs.com will give you 4.5% cash back, and Chase Ultimate Rewards will give you 4 points per dollar spent.
