Delta Airlines just recently upgraded their iPhone application, and with that they are giving 1,000 Delta Miles for all customers who check into their flight using the downloaded application on their iPhone, Android, or Blackberry. This enables you to get your boarding pass on your phone and at security scan your phone as your ticket instead of having to print your ticket at home or at the kiosk. Many airlines actually have this capability. However, I never rely on it and always print my ticket as I have seen the scanners at security not work one too many times and thus the person having to get out of line, go back to the kiosk and print their ticket.

This offer is valid for check-in’s between June 30 and September 7, 2011 and you MUST register first. Also, Delta codeshare flights operated by carriers other than Delta are excluded from this offer.
