Starwood’s current quarterly promotion is coming to an end July 31, 2011. I wrote more about this promotion here, but essentially after every three stays you will receive one free night to be used at a Starwood resort property by December 21, 2011.

If you are off on your multiples of three, it might be worth to do that one last mattress run this weekend. I myself am also planning a mattress run this weekend at a Sheraton where the room rate + tax =$101. I will then receive a $40 statement credit from American Express’s “Link, Live, Love” Facebook promotion. For an extra $60 I am receiving one more additional free night which I am planning on redeeming at the St. Regis Monarch Beach where a night costs over $400.

To view or book Starwood hotels click here. If you find any of those $60-$70/night Starwood hotels out there, feel free to comment to let others know. Enjoy redeeming those free nights!

  1. Does it have to be a sheraton hotel to get the $40 from link love or can it be any starwood property for eg four points

    • @ Andrew – The promotion includes a $40 at many participating businesses, including Sheraton and Westin. To receive the $40 statement credit, you must follow the promotion guidelines and link your American Express Card (corporate cards do not work). You then need to pay for your hotel stay with the registered card to receive the $40 statement credit. This is good for 1 time only at each business.
