Black Friday is Almost Here! Let’s Start with a Gilt City Deal!

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

I know this is not points and miles related, so bear with me here. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday only a week away (give or take), I will have some posts relating to these great sales. Luckily though, these “holidays” have hit the travel industry and I will be posting MANY travel related deals over the next week – so keep an eye out for them (I might even leak some information later today)! Black Friday is one of my favorite days of the year, so I want to ensure to share the fun with you all!

The first deal is that Gilt City is offering 25% off one purchase per account from now until November 27 (purchases can include multiple quantities of the item). Gilt City includes many already discounted activities/restaurants/shopping in some select cities in the US, including: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC. Discounts are typically about 50% off, then getting another 25% off is a steal!

If you are planning on using an online shopping mall to get the bonus points with your purchase, you must use this Gilt City Friends & Family link first to get the 25% special offer applied to your account. Then you are able to access Gilt City through the specific online shopping mall. American Express Membership Rewards, for example, will give you 3 points per $1. If you have any other special offer codes linked to your account, Gilt will automatically apply the one that gives you the greatest discount. The best thing is that you can still use this will any Gilt credits you have (or BuyWithMe credits since Gilt just acquired them).

Any good discounts for you and your family?! This is a great opportunity to do something with the family over the holidays that maybe you would not have otherwise. I am personally thinking about the discounted ice skating in the Boston Commons since I will be there over Thanksgiving. Enjoy and feel free to share any deals you snag!
