UPDATE: As of 1am EST on December 2nd, the promotion is live!! This is limited to the first 1,000 orders. If you are interested, make sure to not delay! As of 1:25am they reached the half way point. Yes, I stayed up late for this one! THIS PROMOTION HAS EXPIRED

Some of you might have been following this offer today with your credit card in hand and wondering “what happened to it?” The promotion was supposed to go live last night, but was postponed. Do not worry – it is happening tonight! If you want to be added to the email list letting you know when the promotion goes live, email and ask them to add you to the promotional email. To access this promotion you MUST go through the following website: At Step 2 of checkout, enter your Delta Airlines number and click the Apply button. This will popular the 25,000 point bonus underneath the price and tax information. If it does not specify to enter your Delta number, you have not entered through the correct site or the promotion is over.

Instead of rehashing the promotion, I am going to pass you along to the Deltapoints blog as the blogger Rene has done an excellent job at describing the promotion and how to get the biggest bang for your buck. To quickly recap this involves, purchasing an item from SkyMall, requesting a price match, and then selling the item on eBay/Craigslist. Just make sure that your purchase price after the price match is over $500. And just to clarify, you must make individual purchases of $500 to get the 25,000 miles. One purchase of $1,000 will still get you the same 25,000 miles. Make sure to stay tuned to to get the latest on the promotion! Right now I am planning on probably 4 purchases!

    • Don’t think I’ll jump on those! They look over priced and I don’t think they would be a good sell on eBay 🙂

    • @Glen – Awesome! I have three orders right now, but going for four. Going on a vacation in a few weeks so I do not want to have to hold onto any.

  1. This is absurd – I completely get the miles and points obsession and I am one of them but either Delta or the fellow bloggers need to understand the true concept of such deals – more Delta than the bloggers. Only a handfull of people were able to avail this deal as the blog readers and resellers probably hogged up all the action and the deal expired with 90 minutes of being active. If I was Delta Airlines, I’d make this process a bit more random . I did make 500K points so not complaining….
