A particular email today caught my eye today from Park Plus Airport Parking, an offsite parking lot at Newark Airport. They are running a special offer allowing a limited number of folks to purchase “Unlimited Airport Parking for 1 Year.” The cost is $995 and you’ll get your own reserved VIP parking spot. While $1k is a lot for parking, if you are used to New York parking, you’ll realize that this can actually provide some great value.
Typically I am able to find a rate of about $11/day at Newark, so it is the least expensive of the three NYC airports. For those road warriors who park at the airport about 1/3 of the year, this can provide some value.
