Way back when I started writing these posts, I wrote about an incident where Mrs. Deals had gone on a bit of a shopping spree acquiring “hits” for a certain promotion. What she didn’t realize until after her little shopping spree was that she had forgotten to actually register me for the promotion. Fast forward to this post and I have a new situation to talk about with Mrs. Deals registering me for literally everything.
Yesterday, Mrs. Deals asked me to dig up my Priority Club account number. Apparently she didn’t have it in her files, I know she’s slacking right?! I’ll be perfectly honest here, I had no idea what Priority Club was for. This could’ve been an airline account for all I knew, but regardless, I did a quick gmail search to see if I had an account number. Turns out I didn’t have any record of it. I figured it was something Mrs. Deals had signed me up for so she went ahead and did some digging in one of her many email accounts. Yup, she had created me an account for some promotion way back when and had all the details.
Now you are probably wondering, what does this have to do with Mrs. Deals not registering Mr. Deals for something. Well, based on the way she registered for Priority Club, I’m “Ms.” Deals. So I guess that means she didn’t actually register me, right? Last time I checked, I was “Mr.” Deals, but I guess I have another alias should I ever need my Priority Club points or miles or whatever that Club has.
I think I may have to start taking some control here and registering myself from now on…
