Last Day for 10% off Hotels.com Reservations

Last month I posted about a 10% off promotion with reservations booked with Hotels.com. Reservations must be booked by TODAY, May 6, 2013 for hotel stays through September 30, 2013. This coupon is valid only for new hotel bookings, but if you have a reservation booked that you are able to cancel, feel free to cancel and re-book (just make sure your original reservation isn’t passed the cancellation date and the price hasn’t increased). You must enter coupon code HOTELDEALS13 at checkout.

There are a few caveats to this promotion:

  • The coupon cannot be applied if the reservation is paid for at the hotel and not in advance with hotels.com
  • There are select non-participating hotels (typically chain hotels) – you can check out excluded hotels here – mostly chain hotels)
  • Using a coupon code means that your stay is NOT eligible for earning nights through their Welcome Rewards program – although I had two hotels.com reservations this past Fall using a coupon code and my nights still got credited

You can book with Hotels.com here. However, remember that you can also book through a variety of cash back portals for extra savings. For example, Topcashback.com will give you 7% back, Bigcrumbs.com will give you 4.5% cash back, and Chase Ultimate Rewards will give you 3 points per dollar spent.
