JetBlue is offering double the number of points for all new flights booked today or tomorrow (October 22-23, 2013) for travel November 5-December 18, 2013. The double points will give you 9 points per $1 spent on the base fare for purchases at jetblue.com.
Typically, you receive 6 points per $1 spent (3 points for just flying JetBlue + an additional 3 points if purchased on jetblue.com). The normal 3 points given to all customer is doubled (for a total of 6 points), and you will still receive the additional 3 points for purchasing on jetblue.com giving you a grand total of 9 points per $1 spent. I know it is being advertised as “triple” points, but in actuality it is more like “double” points.
While this promotion would not make me fly JetBlue over another carrier, it is a great promotion to take advantage of if you have a JetBlue flight in mind anyways.
