Living Social is again offering 20% off their deals by using promotion code GIFT20. This code is valid for today only (expires Wednesday November 20, 2013 at 11:59pm PST). This is a great coupon code, although there was one for 25% off last week! The maximum discount that can be applied is $20 and there is no minimum amount required to use the code.
You will see your savings after entering the code in the “Redeem promo code” box during the checkout process. Living Social will also only allow you to apply this code once per credit card used, so if you are looking to redeem multiple deals, just use another credit card. It is also only valid on deals in the United States.
One personal favorite is the Living Social deal is the Sharper Image $50 voucher for $25. This can be combined with the Amex Sync statement credit offer ($25 back if you spend $125+), so if you are looking for a $180ish+ item from Sharper Image item, you can automatically get $55 off by purchasing this deal and using your synced Amex card. You can read more about the Amex Sync deal here. Think holiday shopping! SharperImage.com offers free shipping for order over $99, but if you are just interested in the Living Social deal, shipping costs can count towards the $50 amount.
You can also go through one of the many points/miles shopping portals to purchase a Living Social certificate. With inexpensive purchases, I always go through the site where I need to keep my miles activate as just one mile credited to American Airlines, US Airways, and United will keep your account active for another 18 months. For the most miles/points/cash back, Ebates and Mr. Rebates offers 4% cash back, American Airlines 3 miles per dollar spent, Discover 10% cash back, and Ultimate Rewards 5 points per dollar spent.
Anyone find any great deals to get some extra savings?
