American Airlines just launched another lucrative bonus through their online shopping portal where you can get up to 3,000 bonus miles. This is a tiered promotion (similar to their last 2,500 bonus promotion that ended December 2, 2013).

  • Spend $75, earn 1,000 bonus miles
  • Spend $150, earn 2,000 bonus miles
  • Spend $250, earn 3,000 bonus miles

This is on top of the regular miles you earn for all your purchases. So let’s say you make a $250 purchase at Nordstrom, you will earn 4 miles per dollar spent (1,000 miles) plus the bonus 3,000 miles for a total of 4,000 miles. If you were going to make the purchase anyways that is a great bonus! Also, it does not need to be a single purchase of $75+, $150+, or $250+. It is your cumulative spend through the AAdvantage Shopping portal for the length of the promotion (until December 22, 2013).

Some current top payouts through the AAdvantage Shopping portal include (as of 12/8/13): Magazines.com – 20 miles per dollar spent; 1-800-BASKETS.COM – 9 miles per dollar spent; Under Armour – 9 miles per dollar spent; Shoes.com – 8 miles per dollar spent; Neiman Marcus – 6 miles per dollar spent

  1. Wondering if you can use AMEX sync offers to save even more? There is a $50 credit offer for $200 spend at Neiman Marcus. NM currently offering 6 miles/dollar. Wondering if I can triple dip!

  2. Please don’t promote.aadvantage E Shopping site. It is a proven scam site. Read all the reports of people not getting the 3k bonus last year and 2k bonus in early September this year. It has no number to call and they rarely respond to.emails. even if they do after 5 months, they will lie
