Happy 4th of July everyone!

There are current a few TopCashBack.com promotions I’d like to point out:

Increased Cash Back:

To celebrate July 4th, TopCashBack.com is giving away 4% more cash back by shopping online through their online shopping portal. Typically, this site gives its members 100% of the commission rate it’s paid by retailers for purchases bought through its portal, but for 24 hours it will be giving you 104% of the commission.

For example, if you make a $100 purchase and you get 10% cash back, you will instead receive 10.4% back. This means instead of earning $10, you’ll get $10.40. While this might not seem like a lot, on a large purchase this could definitely add up – and, every little big extra counts right?! This is valid through Friday July 4th at 12pm PT.

Promotion for free Tide Laundry Detergent (only valid for new TopCashBack.com customers):

While this is a totally random promotion, some of you might actually love some free Tide Laundry detergent. Walmart is selling “Simply Clean & Fresh Refreshing Breeze Liquid Laundry Detergent, 138 fl oz.” for $8.97. If you purchase this product through TopCashBack.com you’ll get $9.90 back from TopCashBack.com which covers the cost of the detergent plus some. Also, if you purchase this product on July 4th you’ll get $10.40 due to the 4% bonus. Keep in mind that you’ll have to pay shipping fees since the product is less then $50, but if it is available in-store you can do in-store pickup for no shipping cost.

Cashing out your earned cash back for Amazon.com gift cards:

Back in February I wrote about a new offer where you can cash out the cash back earned for Amazon.com gift cards for a 5% bonus. If you shop at Amazon often, this is a great way to get more money out of your cash back earned. Starting July 14, 2014, this 5% payout bonus will be decreasing to 2.5%. If you’ve earned any cash back and you’d prefer a 5% bonus with Amazon, make sure to cash out now!

In the exanple above you point out that top cash back is giving an additional 4%. So, am i missing something in the example above? If there is an offer for 10% and you make a purchase, wouldnt that cashback amount to 14%????? Why is the example stating 10.4% That would mean an additional 0.4% extra. 0.4% amounts to 10.4% so what is it. Im am curious and only have 45 minutes left to make an amex gift card purchase. If I get 4% in addition to the 3.12% they are offering, making it 7.12%, that is a deal if i spend $3,000. That would be just ove $210 back.
