Starwood just announced their new Fall promotion “More For You” that will run from September 15 through December 15, 2014. While I love when new promotions are announced, this one is just okay, in my opinion. You must register for this promotion by October 31, 2014.
Promotion includes:
- Double points on stays of 2 or more nights
- Triple points on stays of 2 or more nights that include a Friday or Saturday stay
While this can turn out to be a good promotion for those that have a weekend stay, this will get you nada for a one-nighter. And unfortunately there are a good amount of hotels that are not participating in this promotion. While I did not go through it with a fine tooth comb, it looks like almost every hotel in Massachusetts, New York City, New Jersey, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, and Spain.
While I love when new promotions are announced, this one is just okay in my opinion. Next time I wish Starwood wouldn’t have such a long list of excluded hotels and would still do something for those with a one night stay.
