A Really Good Amex Offer Ending Today! Save 12.5% on Gift Cards!

I’ve written about this Newegg.com American Express Statement Credit offer, but this is a quick reminder that it ends today. It was originally set to expire at the end of 2014, but fortunately was extended until today, February 28, 2015. With this offer, you can spend $200 at Newegg.com and receive a $25 statement credit.

For those who have no interest in purchasing anything from Newegg or have no idea what this online site even is, it doesn’t matter, you can still take advantage! Newegg sell gift cards to MANY other merchants. So you can purchase a $200 gift card to lets say American Airlines and still trigger the $25 statement credit.

While this is available via Twitter which means everyone is eligible, enrollment already hit its maximum so unfortunately if you have not yet synced your card you will not be able to get the statement credit. If you are not sure whether or not you enrolled, sign into your AmericanExpress.com account, click on the “Amex Offers For You” tab at the bottom of the screen, select the “My Offers” button, and if you see the Newegg offer listed you are good to go.

Amex Offer Newegg

As I mentioned above, Newegg.com sells many gift cards including many travel gift cards. So this offer will allow you to save on an upcoming trip or vacation! These gift cards include: American Airlines, Hyatt, Carnival Cruise, Royal Caribbean, BedandBreakfast.com, Celebrity Cruises, and Westgate Resorts. Other non-travel gift cards include: AMC Theater, JCPenney, Maggianos, Gap, Old Navy, Kohl’s, KMart, Footlocker, and many many many more.

I am personally stocking up on American Airline gift cards to use for future travel! What about you?
