Daily Getaways: Discounted Tickets to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Today’s Daily Getaway promotion (Week 4, Day 4) is offering discounted tickets to both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.

With this offer you can get:

  • 1 single-day admission at Busch Gardens for $45 (600 available)
  • 1 single-day admission at Sea World for $49 (1,540 available)

This is valid for Busch Gardens Florida, Busch Gardens Virginia, SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Diego, and SeaWorld San Antonio. You can purchase a maximum of 6 per credit card and the tickets expire April 16, 2016. There are also no blackout dates.

While the prices will save you money at most of the parks, this is not the best deal if you are looking to purchase a kids ticket at SeaWorld San Antonio (price is $37 for kids 3-9). For adults though at SeaWorld Orlando and San Diego you will save about $40 by purchasing tickets through today’s deal. For the Busch Gardens deal, you’ll save about $30 on an adult ticket. Of course though if you are looking for multi-day tickets or package tickets, you might be able to find a better deal. Just remember, these certificates through the Daily Getaways are final sale so make sure to be extra certain of your plans (although I am sure you can find someone to sell them to!).

This deal will go on sale at 1pm EST TODAY Thursday April 16. I do not believe this offer will go that fast, but just to be sure I suggest getting to your computer a few minutes before the sale starts.

  1. I know you are just imparting information, but in the end you are promoting SeaWorld, by linking to buy their tickets.

That corporation is truly wrong. I’m not an extreme animal activist but if you care about torturing majestic creatures (or any animal) please consider that SeaWorld is a disgusting place and every attempt to shut them down should be explored, not advertising them in any shape or form. Watch “Blackfish” if you doubt me.

    • @andy – appreciate your comment. I totally get it and actually have seen blackfish. With that being said, I am not promoting whether you should or should not go to sea world, just writing about a deal. It is up to the individual blog reader to decide whether or not they want to go to sea world.

      • Of course… I know you are absolutely not recommending a visit, just publishing a deal. I get that, honestly I do.

But here’s the thing…. You publish a deal, people see it and maybe buy tickets because of your post. This may help keep an evil (yes I said it…. Evil) corporation in business and hence intelligent creatures in captivity and suffering.

You do have a responsibility and accountability in that. But it’s a free world (for us humans!) and you can post what you like, when you like, and people make their choices yes.

  2. I agree with Andy. If even one person purchases tickets because they saw your link as opposed to not seeing it that is too many. He said it more eloquently than I but ultimately you do carry responsibility.

Beside that I love your blog. Keep em coming

  3. Bump for Andy. It’s also interesting that other blogs who have written about every single deal, did not write anything about today. Kudos to them, and no judgement here. Just trying to promote awareness.

    • @Kimberly, Alex, and Andy – Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. I also thought about it more after you brought it to my attention and took down the link that brought users to the SeaWorld site directly.
