12.5% off Hyatt Gift Cards!

I know I’ve written about this awesome Hyatt gift card sale before and fortunately the opportunity has surfaced again! The gift card online resale site, Raise.com, has extended another exclusive offer to Deals We Like readers and is offering an additional 3% off already discounted gift cards. Currently, gift cards are pricing out as high as 9.8% off, so by using code DWL3 you can purchase a Hyatt gift card for up to 12.51% off. If you have an upcoming Hyatt stay, then this is a great opportunity to stay at a Hyatt hotel for less! This offer lasts through end of day tomorrow, April 21, 2015 at 11:59pm CST. You can purchase a Hyatt gift card here.

Hyatt Gift CardGift card amounts range anywhere between $50 and $500, although some of them also do not have as high of a percentage off. The additional 3% off is for Hyatt, Hyatt Place, and Hyatt House gift cards. Regardless of the gift card you purchase, you can use them at all Hyatt hotels in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean regardless of the brand underneath the Hyatt umbrella. Search for the gift card with the highest percentage off. Gift cards do not expire and once purchased they will be available in your Raise.com account within 24 hours where you can print them out.

Hyatt Gift CardAlso, while this is a good deal for those paying for an upcoming stay, you can also maximize if you are using points for a free night! As long as you put all hotel charges on your room (food, activities, etc.), you can pay for those incidentals at checkout with your gift card! For example, last month I stayed at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and put everything on my room bill, including ski tickets! I was able to purchase discounted Hyatt gift cards through Raise.com prior to my stay and ultimately use it to pay my room bill which included drinks from the bar and lift tickets. At many hotels, excursions, in-room dining, onsite restaurants, the spa, resort fees, etc. can all be billed to your room. From my personal experience the process was extremely seamless. I just handed them the gift certificates at check out and they were applied to my bill.

This 3% off code can only be used once per account, so make sure to purchase as many gift cards you like in a single transaction. You can also get 3% off BedandBreakfast.com gift cards (which you’ll see when you follow the purchase gift card link). I’ll be writing about this offer in just a little.

    • @Mark D – Yes! You just pay the “cash” portion at the hotel and instead use a gift card for that portion.

  1. I tried to use these at the Park Hyatt Washington DC earlier in the month and they said I could not use them at the Park Hyatt brands. Only the Hyatt, Hyatt House and Hyatt Place. Thoughts?

    • Cecilia – The Hyatt Gift Cards purchased through Raise.com are good at all Hyatt branded locations in the U.S. Canada and Caribbean, including Park Hyatt. The information the Park Hyatt Washington DC provided is incorrect, and I will inform them of such. If you need anything else, always feel free to reach out to my guest services team at chicago.giftcards@hyatt.com.

      • Hi Todd,

My wedding is coming up in July in Mystic, CT and a number of my family members are staying at the local Hyatt Place. My mom follows this blog and thought it would be a great idea to purchase gift cards to cover our rooms. I’ve never used Raise.com, but how secure is it? Do the gift cards originally come from Hyatt? The reason I ask is because the purchase was for $1,500.

        • @Ed – I completely trust Hyatt with these gift cards as they are extremely involved with the process with Raise.com. Raise.com also has a 60 day guarantee, although that will probably run out prior to your July wedding.

You can always email Todd and team at: chicago.giftcards@hyatt.com

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I absolutely love the Mystic area and that Hyatt Place is very nice.

    • @Cecilia – As Tom mentioned, they definitely can be used at a Park Hyatt. I personally just used them last month at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. Definitely reach out to Tom as he suggested and they will be able to help.

  2. Are these definitely not for use in Europe, or is that a case by case type of thing? I’ll be at the Park Hyatt Istanbul next month, and would love to save 12%.
