A Few New Amex Statement Credit Offers

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Over the past week a few new American Express offers appeared where you can receive a statement credit by using your registered credit card at participating merchants. Unfortunately though, most of these offers are only available via your AmericanExpress.com account. You will need to use the double browser trick to register for the same offer on multiple cards. Offers available via Twitter (noted with a Tweet #) are available to everyone, while some of the other ones might be targeted and not available to all accounts. Remember, all current Amex Offers are listed here.

  • Backcountry.com: Spend $100+, get a $30 statement credit. Expires 8/2/2015
    • Tip: Purchase a $100 gift card.
  • Macy’s: Spend $100+, get a $20 statement credit. Expires 8/31/2015

    • Promotion code: AMEX4TH (this is not a statement credit offer, but instead an instant discount)
    • Tip: Like all other hotel promotions, make sure you are in fact receiving the best rate
  • The Pierre, New York: Get a complimentary night + food/beverage credit. Expires 9/7/2015
    • Promotion code: IATA code: COR1091598; Rate code: *NXJW$ (this is not a statement credit offer, but instead an instant discount)
    • Tip: Like all other hotel promotions, make sure you are in fact receiving the best rate

I absolutely love the American Express Offers concept and have received a bunch of statement credits due to making purchase with a registered Amex credit card. Remember, these promotions are only valuable to those with an American Express card (no Corporate or prepaid cards) and is only a one-time statement credit. Serve and Bluebird cards are now eligible, but Target REDCard is not. There are also limits to the number of people who can register for some offers so I suggest doing it now!

If you have multiple Amex cards, you will need to sync them to different accounts. To learn more about these American Express offers, read this Amex Offers series:

Make sure to check out all of the current Amex Offers available on this permanent page on the blog.

Get’s kind of repetitive… you really couldn’t be troubled to come up with anything else this time or the last 50?
